Hearts announced that the ‘former Karela United player has signed a long-term contract’ with the club, however, The Post understands the player is still under contract with Karela United Football Club and his contract will expire in 2019.
According to the reports, Hearts did not contact Karela before signing the player and therefore, Karela still sees him as their player.

The club has denied selling their player to Hearts as they have not received any message from Hearts.
‘We have heard that they [Hearts] have signed our player but officially Hearts has not given us any letter to ask about the player,’ Karela United’s Administrative Manager, Cudjoe told Fox FM.
Cudjoe also said the only players they have sold were sold to Kotoko.
He also indicated that at the right time they will handle the issue.
Karela, also, officially released a statement to confirm the story and urged their fans to calm down.
