Hearts of Oak has announced the dissolution of its board of directors, as revealed in a statement released on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Notable personalities such as Frank Nelson, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Alhaji Akanbi Brimah, and Vincent Odotei Sowah have been removed from their positions.
This decision, initiated by Board Chairman Togbe Afede, comes ahead of the club’s scheduled Annual General Meeting (AGM) next month.
Last week, a group of supporters staged a demonstration against the club’s ownership, demanding changes at the top of the club’s hierarchy.
In a recent development, the club has appointed Delali Anku-Adiamah as their new Managing Director in February.
Hearts of Oak has faced inconsistency on the local football scene since achieving the league and Cup double in 2021.
