Hearts of Oak has snubbed an offer from Kotoko to sign their striker Hamza Issah.
Accra Hearts of Oak told their arch-rivals that their striker Hamza Issah is not for sale. According to Lawson FM in Kumasi, Hearts of Oak’s new coach, Didi Dramani informed the club Issah is “part of his plans for the upcoming season” as the club wants to win the Ghana Premier League next season.
In 2023, Martin Koopman who was the coach of Hearts of Oak compared Issah who was 21 years at the time to Brazilian and Barcelona legend, Romario after he scored a brace after Karela United in the Ghana Premier League. “He has something from Romario, low on the ground, turns very fast. I like him very much. It was a pity that we had to change him but all the other players did a very good job,” Koopman said after the game.
Issah scored four goals for Hearts of Oak in the 2024/25 season.
