Accra Hearts of Oak has reportedly rejected an offer from Norwegian club Viking FK to sign Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Barnieh’s contract ends in December and the former U-20 captain has rejected a new offer from his club.
The 21-year-old, according to the report, wants GHS 15, 000 a monthly salary but the club has offered him less than that.
Barnieh is the only Ghanaian player playing in the local league that has a high chance of making it to the World Cup in Qatar this year and Hearts believe it will be good for him to stay till after the tournament which will end in December.

Barnieh is a league champion and two-times FA Cup winner with Hearts of Oak and he has been an integral part of the team for two seasons.
