Asante Kotoko has missed out of signing Samatex FC youngster Benjamin Yorke after he signed for Hearts of Oak. The youngster who scored goals for fun during the Division One League has reportedly signed a four-year contract with the Phobians.
Kotoko wrote to Sarmatex to express their interest in Yorke but the club was unwilling to sell him as they believed they would need him when they qualify for the Premier League. However, after failing to qualify for the league they reached an agreement with Hearts for the signature of the highly-rated player.
Yorke, according to the report, will not play in the CAF Champions League as he was not registered for the competition by his new club.
