Reports gathered by The Post indicates that Accra Hearts of Oak are struggling to get a collateral to go for a loan from Stanbic Bank.
According to the report, Stanbic Bank is demanding a collateral from Accra Hearts of Oak before they will support them to complete their project at Pobiman in Accra.
However, Accra Hearts of Oak is struggling to get a collateral that they can use to go for the loan as none of the club’s property is up to the value the bank is asking for.
Also The Post understands the club needs around $ 4 million to complete the project.
Hearts as part of their rebranding is hoping to put things in place to get back to their glory days.
The club last month announced Umbro as their kit sponsors, unveiled a new logo and wordmark.
Last year, a photo of cows and sheep grazing on the park went viral but that has not been the case this year as Hearts has been training at Pobiman.
When Togbe Afede IV took over as the Executive Board Chairman of the club, he promised to complete the project but that has not been the case. Though the team now trains Pobiman, it is not up to the standard one would expect.
