Housewives in the Brong Ahafo Region have indicated they want the government to pass a law that will ensure that housewives in the country get paid by their husbands.
They posited that they are going to send a bill to parliament and petition the government to help them.
According to the women, it is not their wish not to work but their husbands do not want them to work, therefore, the government must ensure that their husbands must pay them for making them stay home.
Since this is the first time such an issue has been raised in Ghana we all have to wait and see if the women will get the support of the government.
But should Parliament pass it into law, will the men be willing to pay their wives every month?
