Asante Kotoko legend Sarfo Gyamfi has vowed to help his side succeed in the upcoming 2020/21 Ghana Premier League by working in their favour spiritually.
Sarfo Gyamfi earned the name as the ‘Black President’ during his playing for his believe in Black magic or “juju” during his playing days.
Speaking in an interview on matters concerning the club, the retired footballer said, “I am going to help Kotoko in any way that I can. I will continue to do the juju for them if that is what will help them to win. I will do it anywhere for the team. Whether they play in Kumasi or Accra”, Sarfo Gyamfi told Happy FM.
He urged the current management led by Nana Yaw Amponsah to continue with their good works and be focused on delivering their mandate for the club.
The former Black Stars striker also pleaded with the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) to honour the late Osei Owusu by attending his funeral.
The three Ghana Premier League golden boot will be buried on Saturday 7 November in Sunyani which has coincided with the Battle of the Stars game at Elmina.
Sarfo Gyamfi urged organizers of the game and PFAG to postpone the game and honour Osei Owusu by attending the funeral.
