Social Media has become the most powerful means to disseminate information in this generation.
Ghanaians through the power of social media called for the arrest of a policeman who assaulted a nursing mother at a bank.
Days after that another policeman lost his job after he gave a teenager 36 lashes at his back and neck.
The teenager, whose name is Stanley Antwi in an interview on Angel FM stated that he is happy the policeman has been interdicted.
DSP Dickson Obeng lost his job after a picture of Stanley’s back went viral.
Stanley, 14 and a class six student said he wants to be a pastor when he grows up so he did not do anything to disobey the policeman.
Stanley was given the lashes after a fight with another boy over a cap.
According to Stanley, the boy was given three lashes but he was given more than the thirty lashes because he did not cry when he was being beaten.
DSP Dickson Obeng is being investigated for the action he took.
