Ghana Football Association President, Kurt E.S. Okraku has said he is ready to officiate the game Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC as they battle for the J.A. Kufuor Cup on Sunday.
Okraku made the statement when he met former President Kufuor at the launch of the Cup at his residence.
“So I am very happy to play any part at all even if the organizers will allow me to be the referee for the game I will willingly take up the whistle to show my skills,” he said.

He praised the former President for his contributions to the game of football during and after his time as the Head of State of Ghana.
The GFA President also bought 500 tickets for the game which will be given to the fans for free.
The JA Kufuor Cup is played between Asante Kotoko and any club in Ghana to honour John Agyekum Kufuor, who was the Chairman of Asante Kotoko before he became the President of Ghana.
