Maxwell Konadu has said he is not so worried about the fact that his side is struggling to score goals.
Konadu, in an interview said he can’t say his side is “bad in scoring” and he can’t say if the team is “very good in scoring but at least apart from two or so matches we have been scoring in every game” and he thinks “its not bad.”
He added that he is not worried about it since goal scoring is a “collective thing” so if the “strikers are not scoring and the midfielders are scoring then so be it.”
However, he added that the team will continue to keep practicing until they improve their goal scoring.
At the moment, Aduana Stars’ Yahaya Mohammed is leading the goalscoring table with 8 goals in 8 games and Accra Hearts of Oak’s Kofi Kordzi is 10th on the table with 3 goal. No Kotoko player has been is on the goalscoring table after match day 8 and this has got the fans of the club talking about the lack of goals.
After 8 games, the team has scored 9 goals and conceded 5 goals.
