Brigadier General Joseph Nunoo Mensah has come out to deny that he said: “Ghana should prepare for a revolution in shortest possible time.”
The former National Security Advisor to the late President Mills, in an interview on Fox FM in Kumasi, laughed at the comments he is said to have made.
“This is what Trump refers to us fake news.”
He indicated he was talking against the unemployment situation and the rise of the vigilantism in the country.
According to him, it is not advisable for any political party to have a private army either land guards or vigilantes because there are security forces mandated to do that.
Also, he denied having a secret tape about former President Mahama as reported in the Chronicle newspaper this week.
He indicated he rather said the former President Mahama should rather not contest for the presidency again.
