I don’t believe left-footed players should play left-back – David Duncan after losing to Kotoko

Medeama SC head coach, David Duncan has said he does not believe left-footed players should play the left-back position in football.

The former Kotoko coach made the statement after his side lost 1-0 to Kotoko in the Ghanaian Premier League on Saturday.

Asante Kotoko midfielder Nicholas Mensah nutmegged Medeama’s left-back Fatawu Sulemana before scoring the goal from a narrow-angle.

After the game, Duncan in his post-match interview said in his philosophy he doesn’t believe in left-footed players playing at the left-back but “I don’t have any alternative for now.”
