Oseikrom President, Reggie Rockstone has in an interview on Fox FM with Lovin Cee said he is ‘one of the proudest Asantes’ you will ever meet.
The rapper most of the time dedicate a line in his rap to hometown (Ashanti Region) and he talked about how proud he is of his tribe.
“I have always been proud of where I come from that is why they call me the Oseikrom President.”
“But the Oseikrom president is fantasy. Asantehene is real.”
“I am probably the most … one of the proudest Asantes you will ever meet.”
“I have said this from day one I am Oseikrom dude.”
Rockstone talked about how proud he is of the hometown when he was asked about if he will be at the Asantehene’s 20 anniversary.
Rockstone revealed that he has met the Asantehene briefly and he has knows his parents.
Born Reginald Yaw Asante Ossei, Rockstone was born in the United Kingdom but he spent his early years in Kumasi and Accra.
