Former Asante Kotoko captain Joseph Hendricks has said that former Hearts of Oak defender Daniel Coleman was a good player but not better than him.
Speaking to Frank Osei Owusu on Onua FM, the former hard-tackling defender said Dan Coleman did not have what it takes to be considered as the best defender that Ghana’s domestic league has ever produced.
According to him, he was one of best that Ghanaians could boast of as the likes of former Hearts captian Amankwah Mireku can testify.
“Daniel Coleman doesn’t have any certificate to counsel Ghana defenders but I have that certificate which makes me the best,” the former Obuasi Goldfields player said.
“I played the ABC Premier League and I tackled serious players like Joe Fameye, Osman Amadu etc.”
He said when he was playing in the league, Dan ‘Kofi Gari’ Coleman was playing in the lower division with Power FC so he cannot be compared to him, adding that he holds a degree in defending but Daniel Coleman does not have a certificate at all.
