Ghanaian businessman-cum-politician, Benarnd ‘Chairman Wontumi’ Antwi Boasiako has expressed his interest in buying English Premier League club Chelsea FC.
The club is currently on the market for £3 billion after the club’s owner Roman Abramowich put it up for sale.
Wontumi made the statement on his radio station Wontumi Radio in Kumasi, adding that he has a mining company, farms and other businesses, therefore, he has the money to buy the reigning World Club champions.
He added that he would sell Lukaku, buy Real Madrid’s Vinicious Junior, as well as, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
He went on to real that he has met Roman Abramovich once but at that time he was a bodyguard to a friend of the Russian billionaire.
Last year, Chairman Wontumi made headlines when he said he wanted to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba for Asante Kotoko.
