I was a striker before I became a goalkeeper – Felix Annan

Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Felix Annan has revealed he was a striker before he found his place in the goal post.

Annan in an interview with Sports on WhatsApp said he was a prolific goalscorer but during a game during the early stages in his career, their goalkeeper did not show up and he ended up in the post.

“I can score a lot of goals,” he said, “as at now I am very very good as a striker.”

“One day we were going for a match and our keeper did not turn up and I had to go and play as a replacement.”

Annan said he had a great game and his then coach told him to stay in the post because he looks good as a keeper.

Since then he has remained in the post.
