Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Yahaya Mohammed has advised the fans of his former club not to travel with the team to go to Ivory Coast on Sunday to watch the game against San Pedro.
According to him, “if you compare the behaviour of Ghanaians to the Francophone countries they are different.” He explained that their safety is not guaranteed if they travel with the team.
“They should leave everything to the players,” he said on Kessben FM, “because they cannot touch any player,” he added.
After the game on Sunday, the fans who San Pedro who monitored the game from Ivory Coast believed their team was not treated fairly and has sent a warning to Kotoko ahead of the game.
