I would love to work for Kotoko but I have taken up another position – George Afriyie

Former Ghana Football Association president, George Afriyie has in a press release said he would not take up Asante Kotoko’s CEO position.

Afriyie has been linked to the position along aside Nana Yaw Amponsah but reports in the media indicated he is in pole position to be the next CEO of Kotoko.

In his release, Afriyie stated that he has “taken up a commitment which would not permit” him to take up that role of Asante Kotoko CEO.

He, however, stated that he would love to work for Kotoko one day.
