Italian striker, Mario Bawuah Balotelli has set the internet on fire with a painting of him dressed in a beautiful kente cloth with two Ghanaian flags behind him.
Balotelli posted the picture on his Instagram page with the caption, ‘I always say that I’m proud to be ?? Italian but never forget that I’m AFRICAN, son of 2 immigrants and proud to be ?? Ghanaian too. AFRICA IS MY ❤️?✊?.’
Balotelli, whose parents are from Konongo in the Ashanti Region chose to play for the country of his birth and has scored 14 goals in 36 games for Italy since making his debut in 2010.
Before joining OGC Nice, Balotelli who is also yet to step foot in Ghana is has played for Liverpool, Manchester City, AC Milan and started his career at Inter Milan.
