International Press Institute condemns the murder of Ahmed Hussein-Suale

The International Press Institute (IPI) has condemned the murder of Ghanaian journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale Divela.

IPI which is a global network of media executives, journalists and editors after the announcement of the death of the Ahmed released a statement on their website to condemn the killing of the 34-year old journalist.

“The brutal murder of Hussein-Suale underscores the grave danger that journalists, especially those who tackle corruption and abuse of power, face in their line of work. The government of Ghana must swiftly investigate this crime and bring the killers to justice,” IPI Director of Advocacy Ravi R. Prasad said.
