The President, Nana Addo in some of this speeches has described his wife, Rebecca has a ‘lovely wife’.
Before he went to the market, the first paid a visit to the Manhyia Palace to meet with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
From there, he toured the capital of the Garden City to look at ongoing projects.
At Abrepo market, the President was happy to see some market women at Abrepo, holding photos of his wife.
After thanking the people of Kumasi for the support they have given him throughout his political career, he promised to help Kumasi and Ashanti Region as whole to develop.
When the President was done with his speech, he said: “I have seen you are holding pictures of my wife”. “Isn’t my wife beautiful?” he asked.
With cheers from the crowd, he said: “God has blessed me [with a beautiful woman]”.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo married Rebecca after the demise of his first wife.
The couple has four daughters.
