The Israeli ambassador to Ghana Shani Cooper is in the Ashanti Region for a two-day tour of the region.
Cooper is in the Garden City to see some projects being taken by Israel and also help improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.
“Israel is in the process of renovating and providing equipment for one of the units in order to maintain the low child mortality rate the hospitals have been recording,” she said after visiting Kumasi South and Suntreso Hospitals.
Cooper also visited some Israeli companies in the Ashanti Region including Vital Capital Fund and P2W.
She also met with the Kumasi mayor Osei Assibey and the Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah to discuss how to strengthen Israeli activities and investments in the region, especially in the agriculture and healthcare sectors.
