Kotoko announce CK Akonnor as the new coach

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of CK Akonnor as their new head coach. CK has signed a 3-year contract with the Ghanaian Premier League giant starting today 1 October 2018.

The former Ghana national team and Wolfsburg captain has coach Accra Hearts of Oak, Ashanti Gold FC and Eleven Wise FC where he started his coach career.

The announcement was made at Sports Hotel at Asokwa in Kumasi but the unveiling will be made on Wednesday after he has had his first training section with the team.

CK has been tasked to win a Ghana Premier League within his first two years and win the CAF Champions League in his final year.
