The organizers of the J. A. Kuffour Cup have rescheduled the match to the end of the year.
The game which was to be played on the 2 December 2018 in Kumasi will now be played on December 30, 2018.
No further details have been given as to why the game has been rescheduled.
The game, which will be played between Kotoko and Ashanti Gold was originally supposed to be between Kotoko and Hearts.
Hearts pulled out of the competition because the organizers of the game could not meet their ¢ 100, 000 demand.
However, reports indicate Hearts did intentionally make the demand as they were not willing to play Kotoko who had just beaten them in a two-leg friendly game in Kumasi and Accra.
The match is to honour former President Kuffour who will turn 80 years on 8 December and is also seeking to raise ¢80 million for his foundation to help the youth in the country.
