Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup competition respectively, according to Angel FM in Accra.
The decision to allow the two Ashanti Region clubs to represent Ghana in the competition was made after the Ghanaian Premier League was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The two clubs represented Ghana last season as Kotoko won the Normalisation Tier One competition while Ashanti Gold won the Tier Two competition.
