Ghana’s representatives in next season’s CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold will be testing their players for COVID-19, according to reports.
According to the report, both clubs want to test their players and start training for their Africa campaign, as soon as, the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo lifts the ban on contact sports.
The president placed a ban on contact sports in the country after the country started recording COVID-19 cases.
After the league was canceled due to the ban, Kotoko was chosen to represent Ghana in the Champions League while Ashanti Gold was given the Confederation Cup slot.
