Kumasi Asante Kotoko Director of Communications, Sarfo Duku has said Kotoko
belongs to the Champions League and the club will beat Berekum Chelsea to extend their lead on top of the group as they want to qualify to the Champions League next season.
Kotoko will play the Berekum based club on Wednesday and Sarfo Duku believes Ash Gold and Aduana’s failure to win their games over the weekend is a good opportunity for them to “stretch” their lead.
The first round of matches ends after tomorrow’s games and the second round begins on Sunday with Kotoko facing Berekum Chelsea in Berekum.
He added, they are going to beat them back-to-back as “Chelsea cannot be an impediment on” their “way” as the records are in their favour.
“We will parade our best players” against Berekum Chelsea.
According to him, Kotoko’s name should be mentioned among the Champions League clubs and not in the Confederation Cup.
Adding, he indicated that people were happy with what they did in the Confederation Cup so they want to win the competition to qualify for the Champions League.
