Asante Kotoko Board, according to reports, has plans of buying an aeroplane and also building a stadium for the club.
Owning a stadium has been a topic among the club’s fans for years.
The fans believe the club would get more money should they build their stadium as they pay more tax when they play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Also, when the current Board was inaugurated, they were tasked by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to help the club get its own stadium.
The aeroplane, on the other hand, is something new.
The team uses commercial flights when traveling outside the country to play international matches.
Should the club be able to buy the plane, it would join an exclusive list of African clubs with an aircraft including TP Mazembe.
At the moment, the club’s main target is to build a new secretariat and also complete their training complex at Adako-Jachie.
