Asante Kotoko will play the second round of their home Premier League games at the Len Clay Stadium, the homegroud of their regional rivals, Ashanti Gold in Obuasi.
Kotoko changed their home venue as they felt playing at the Accra Sports Stadium was not helping them.
The team always had to travel from Kumasi to Accra, stay at a hotel until they play their game.
Meanwhile, from Kumasi to Obuasi is 59.8 kilometres which is about 1 hour 34 minutes via the Kumasi-Obuasi road while the distance from Kumasi to Accra is over 240 kilometres.
Kotoko will use the 20,000 capacity stadium until the government of Ghana finishes the renovation works at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
