Kotoko ex-Chairman Yaw Bawuah buried

Former Asante Kotoko chairman, Yaw Bawuah has been buried.

The funeral for the man who led Asante Kotoko to win their second Champions League trophy in 1983 took place yesterday.

Bawuah died in January this year and the CEO of Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Dr Prosper Nartey, the coach of the club and some players including Fabio Gama attended the funeral.

Asnate Kotoko legends including Opoku Nti and players who won the Chamions League during his tenure were present to pay their last respect to their former boss.

Asante Kotoko’s flag and jersey were placed on his coffin before he was sent to the cemetery for burial.
