Kotoko fall in Tunisia, drop to the Confederation Cup

Etoile Sportive du Sahel has eliminated Kumasi Asante Kotoko from the CAF Champions League by beating Kotoko 3-0 at the Stade Mustapha Ben Jannat.

Etoile’s Ben Ouanes scored from the spot-kick in the 21st minutes of the game to make it 2-1 on aggregate.

Laaribi scored a brace in the second half to give his side a three-goal lead.

The Porcupine Warriors were hoping to end their 13-year wait to enter the group stage but they now have to wait for another year.
