Asante Kotoko fans are angry at journalists who are always saying bad things about Nana Yaw Amponsah’s administration and telling him what they want him to do.
The fans believe the journalists who mostly work with radio stations in Kumasi have an agenda against Nana Yaw which the fans believe should be stopped.
Nana Yaw became the CEO in August this year and has helped the club sign sponsorship deals with Veo, Hisense, Instat, Adonko Next Level and Errea as the club’s new kit sponsors.

He is also building a training complex for the club at Adonko Jachie which would be completed by the end of the year.
He has also abolished paying signing on fee to the players and has rather increased the salary of the players. A move which the fans appreciate so much and has also helped the club to save money.
There are also reports that the club would announce new sponsors this week.

The fans believe some journalists have decided to criticize Nana Yaw for doing the opposite of what they think would help the club especially when it comes to player recruitment.
Some of the journalists have criticized him for failing to renew the contracts of some players and signing 28-year old Brazilian, Fabio Gamma.
The fans believe Nana Yaw has done so much for the short time he has been in office and would need more time to change things and also bring the Champions League trophy to Kumasi.
