Kotoko fans worried they will be playing Kano Pillars on Akwasidae

Some fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are worried that their game against Kano Pillars falls on Akwasidae.

While others believe Kotoko will beat Kano Pillars at all cost, others are worried because Kotoko most of the time struggle to win a game on Akwasidae is being celebrated.

During last season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign, Kotoko won two of their three home games and drew with Sudanese club, Al Hilal of Omdurman. Kotoko would have qualified to the next stage of the competition they won the game but they failed to do so.

Although some management of the club have told the fans not to be superstitious as the club has won numerous games on Akwasida, the question still begging to be answered is why is it that Kotoko struggles to win a game in Kumasi on Akwasidae?
