Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak before announcing the signing of Sulley Muntari had to fix their anticipation chair after their archrivals Asante Kotoko mocked them.
Whenever Kotoko is about to announce a new player they always write Anticipate on their Twitter and Facebook pages.
While Kotoko always make the announcement hours or minutes after writing anticipate on their social media pages, Hearts, on the other hand, had to wait for days before making the announcement. And this made their rivals mock them before they did something about it.
How did it all start?
It all started after Hearts of Oak on January 26 posted a chair and captioned it Anticipate.
Three days later, Kotoko posted a photo of an old chair in a bush and captioned it “Anti …” with an emoji blowing nose.
After Kotoko made the post, their fans started making mocking Hearts of Oak which forced the reigning Ghanaian Premier League champions to send the chair to the workshop.
On 31 January, Hearts posted the chair Kotoko posted and captioned it “We never say die until our BONES are rotten. Lets fix the Antici chair.”
The Phobians posted three photos showing a new chair being made for the announcement of Sulley Muntari.
