Kotoko gets the green light to compete in Africa

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been given the permission to participate in the 2018/19 CAF Confederations Cup by the Normalization Committee.

The Normalization Committee first made it clear that no Ghanaian club will be allowed to compete in next season’s CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup due to the suspended football activities in the country.

But Kotoko petitioned the Committee to allow them to represent the country as they are ready for the challenge ahead of them.

In a signed statement by the committee, the club was given the permission to get ready as they are going to represent the country in the Confederations Cup.
