Kotoko has less than GHC 15, 000 in the club’s bank account

Reports of Asante Kotoko not being financially stable is often discussed on sports programs in Ghana as it baffles lots of people why the club as to struggle financially especially when it has fans more than other clubs in the country.

After presentations were made to the board of Asante Kotoko, The Post understands they were informed the club has less than GHC 15, 000 in the club’s account.

This, according to the report, is the reason why Dr Kyei had been solely financing the club.

Albeit the club has sponsorship deals with MTN, Goil and Paradise Pack, the money the club gets from the deals is not enough to finance the club.
