The Deputy Accra Representative of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Dankwah has denied the news that Kotoko will play with Arab Contractors also called Al-Mokawloon al-Arab Sporting Club next month in Kumasi.
Nana Kwame said their “potential partners,” Sheer Group is part of those who are helping to find a team for Kotoko to play with in honour of the 20th Anniversary of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, he said on Kessben FM.
He explained that he discussed a lot which was basically about “moving Kotoko forward.”
He further emphasized that they have not agreed to play with Sheer Group as other partners are also working on finding a team for Kotoko to play with.
The Post understands that Kotoko will take a decision on the proposal from Sheer Group today after which an official announcement will be made.
