Kumasi Asante Kotoko played their first game of the season on Sunday and it was the first time the team played in the jersey of their new kit sponsors, The Hope Brand (THB).
After the game, Kumasi FM’s Richmond ‘PKay’ Opoku Afriyie talked about how he did not like the size of the team’s jerseys.
He said on the station’s Country Sports show that the jerseys are nice “but they are too big”, therefore, the one who brought it should send it to someone and do alteration on the clothes.
He explained that the size of the jerseys can affect the movement of the players on the pitch.
Also, he questioned why the players were given fitting clothes to wear to the stadium but had to wear an oversized jersey to play to the game.
Pkay admired the jacket the players wore to the stadium and compared their appearance to the English club, Liverpool.
