Since the club and the company started renegotiating their contract, Vodafone has reportedly offered Kotoko a good offer. According to the report, due to MTN’s good relationship with Manhyia Palace, it has become difficult for Kotoko to terminate their contract with them.
While MTN had been reluctant to increase their offer in the past few months, there are reports that the company has now decided to increase their sponsorship package to Kotoko.
Kotoko and MTN renewed their contract in May 2020 but since Nana Yaw Amponsah became the CEO in August, he and his management have been asking for a renegotiation of the deal.
