The current management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, according to reports has written to some members of the old administration to help them find some money.
According to the reports, the new management wants the members of the old management to explain to them the expenditure of thing they did during their time in office.
There were reports that the ‘missing money’ included money that was paid to the club by Hollard Insurance after the team had an accident on the Kumasi-Accra Highway. However, it has been also reported that the insurance company paid only 50% of the money to the club as the documents it got from the club were not complete.
It is not clear the exact amount that the new administration suspects were not documented but the members of the old administration will meet with the new administration to give them answers to their questions.
