Reports indicate that Kumasi Asante Kotoko, a Ghana Premier League team, has terminated its contract with Algerian video analyst Boudjadi Nazim Mohammed Islam. The decision to part ways with Islam was made following the team’s 1-0 loss to Aduana Stars in the round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup.
Islam initially joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko in September 2022 as a video analyst. However, he was later assigned the role of physical trainer under a separate contract. According to Kessben FM, the Algerian professional left Ghana for Algeria after the club cleared his outstanding salary.
This development marks a change within the team’s coaching staff, and it remains to be seen how Kumasi Asante Kotoko will move forward without Nazim’s contributions.
