Kumasi Asante Kotoko has qualified for the next stage of the Confederation Cup without kicking a ball.
Kotoko got the qualification after the Cameroonian FA failed to submit a team to CAF as their representative for the competition, CAF has announced, indicating that the time for the submission of team for the competition has elapsed.
Kotoko was expected to play the winner of Cameroon’s FA Cup winner which is yet to be played.

CAF, this afternoon made the announcement after it was reported that Kotoko will be playing Eding Sport FC on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Kotoko will now play the winner of the game between Kenya’s Kariobangi Stars and Djibouti’s Arta Solar in December.
