Asante Kotoko has rejected the jerseys the Ghana League Clubs Association has given them for the President’s Cup.
GHALCA announced that the two clubs competing for the President’s Cup trophy, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko will wear a customized jersey for the game, however, Kotoko has reportedly informed them that they can not wear the jersey.
The Post understands that Kotoko’s decision to reject the jerseys stems from their contract with THB, their official kit sponsor as it would be a breach of contract if Kotoko wears the customized jerseys from GHALCA for match.
Accra Hearts of Oak, on the other hand, according to GHALCA has accepted the jerseys. The jerseys were received on behalf of the club by the Managing Director, Dr Delali Anku-Adiamah at the club’s Commercial Centre.
The game will be played on on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
