Kotoko sack Zachariassen

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has finally sacked their coach, Kjetil Zachariassen.

The Norwegian signed a 3-year contract with the club in July this year, however, he failed to fulfil the task that was given to him.

Zachariassen was tasked to qualify the club to the group stage of the CAF Champions League but he failed to do that.

Kotoko after failing to qualify to the group stage of the competition was demoted to the Confederation Cup but after beating San Pedro 1-0 in Kumasi lost to the Ivorian side 2-0 in Abidjan.
