Asante Kotoko’ Ashanti Regional Circles Chairman, Obeng Sekyere has advised the management of the club to run the club like a company and stop depending on the fans to make contributions to solve their problems.
Asante Kotoko has been fined $240,000 by FIFA for the delay in the payment of a transfer fee to Esperance for the services of Emmanuel Clottey since 2015.
In an interview with Obuasi based Tyme FM, Sekyere added that “Kotoko has to be run like a company. The supporters are the customers of the company. The managers have to sit down and realize that Kotoko is a company that they are running”
“It is not every time that we should be getting these problems. They have to follow company rules and regulations to run the club.”
“There should be positions that shouldn’t be changed. The only ones that maybe should be changed is the chairman and CEO.”
