Ghana Premier League legend, Charles Taylor has praised the Kotoko team for their brilliant performance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
“I am very happy with the performance of the team,” he said.
“I have been calling Amos every day,” he told Ike on Ash FM.
Taylor said no Kotoko team has done what this team is doing in a long time.
“The style of football this team is playing is different. I have never seen this before.”
“During our time, we could not reach the stage this team has gotten to.”
“Give this team 2 or 3 years and see what they will do.”
“If Kotoko does not get 4 or 5 players in the Black Stars then it means we do not say the truth in Ghana.”
Taylor said that Amos, Frimpong, Kwame Bonsu, Fatau, Gyamfi, Felix Annan and Maxwell Baako who he said his injury is worrying him should be called to the Black Stars.
Taylor was impressed with how Gyamfi takes on his opponents and praised the team.
