Competing in Africa demands a lot of money and it is the main reason why most Ghanaian clubs are unable to compete in African club competitions.
The Post has gathered that Kumasi Asante Kotoko spent over $24, 000 when accommodation alone when they played Kariobangi Sharks in Nairobi, Kenya last week Saturday.
Kariobangi Sharks arranged for a place for Kotoko but the Porcupine Warriors were not satisfied with the standard of the place, therefore, the management arranged for a place for the team.
And it was at the City Lodge Hotel in Nairobi that the players and management of Asante Kotoko lodged.

There were reports that some Kotoko players stole face towels from the hotel but the hotel management denied accusing the players of being the suspects.
