Reports reaching The Post indicates that Kumasi Asante Kotoko has suspended the selling the of their replica jerseys.
The CEO of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah in an interview on Oyerepa Radio on 26 December 2020 said the replica jerseys would be available on 25 January 2021.
But the club has taken the decision not to sell the replica jerseys as some people have been arrested for selling fake replica jerseys of the club.
According to the report, the club, through police investigations has found out that there are over 100,000 fake replica jerseys at a warehouse in Togo.
The owner of the fake replica jersey is awaiting for the original replica jerseys to be available on the market so that the fake ones can also be sold.
Kotoko has, therefore, decided to suspend the selling of the original replica jerseys in other to be able to get rid of the fake ones on the market.
