Fatawu’s shot from a free hit the chest of the Nkana FC goalkeeper, Allan Chibwe and the edge of the goalpost before entering the net.
Kotoko made it two in the 23rd minute after Chibwe could not hold on to Daniel Darkwah’s shot. The ball fell in front of Emmanuel Gyamfi who tapped it into the net.
Kotoko got most of the chances and controlled the game in the first half as they did in Zambia in the first leg.
5 minutes after scoring the second goal, Martin Antwi scored to make it 3 for the Ghanaian giants with a long shot into the top right corner of the goalpost.
The 3-0 scoreline means Kotoko has given the Red Devils the same scoreline they gave when the two teams met in 1993 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
